Guatemala: In general, findings of the critical HRI follow-up study will improve current programming and identify target areas for future interventions in these targeted communities in Guatemala. In particular, ISWS social workers expect that the findings of the follow-up study will inform:
1. Identification of evidence to effectively employ strategies to counter pandemic-related anxiety and stress.
2. Development of outreach strategies for identifying individuals struggling with pre-existing mental health issues.
3. Increased understanding of the feasibility and effectiveness of utilizing technology for mental health service delivery.
