Follow-up Study to Provide Critical Program Improvements of ISWS’ Ongoing Work in Guatemala
April-May 2021

In general, the findings of this follow-up study will improve current programming and identify target areas for future interventions in these targeted communities in Guatemala. In particular, ISWS social workers expect that the findings of the follow-up study will inform: 1) Identification of evidence to effectively employ strategies to counter pandemic-related anxiety and stress, 2) Development of outreach strategies for identifying individuals struggling with pre-existing mental health issues, and 3) Increased understanding of the feasibility and effectiveness of utilizing technology for mental health service delivery.
